The classic light wrap, without the precomp. Pick a background layer and LightWrap wraps its light and color around the edges of your foreground, live in the comp.
Move it, scale it, animate it, the wrap follows. No precomposing, no baking, and it works on footage, text and shape layers alike.
Optional glow, direction control and background color correction are built in.
LightWrap blends the light and color of a background layer around the edges of your foreground, the classic light-wrap that sells a composite. Plus an optional glow, a directional gate, and background color-correction, all built in. Resolution-independent and GPU-accelerated. No precomp needed: pick a background layer and move and animate your foreground freely, the wrap updates live. Works on footage, text and shapes alike.

- Wrap a chosen Background layer into the foreground edges, driven by its alpha
- 7 blend modes: Normal, Screen, Add, Lighten, Soft Light, Overlay, Multiply
- Radius, Width and BG Blur to shape how far and how soft the wrap reaches
- Intensity 0–200%
- Luma-based wrapping with adjustable tolerance, or disable luma weighting
- Light Wrap Only, output just the wrap for compositing/inspection
- Light Glow, a background-tinted halo with its own Intensity, Size, blend (Normal/Add/Screen) and independent Inside / Outside falloff
- Direction, restrict the wrap to a directional arc: Center, Angle, Spread, Falloff
- Color Correct, grade the background before it wraps: Saturation, Exposure, Tint + Tint Amount
- Honors track mattes, Time Remap, and motion blur (shutter-accurate)
- 8 / 16 / 32-bit, Smart Render, GPU accelerated (CUDA on Windows, Metal on Mac)
