Shutter Drag installation notice

We’re investigating an installation issue with aescripts Manager. If Shutter Drag doesn’t appear in After Effects or Premiere Pro after using Manager, manual installation is available.

Download the After Effects & Premiere Pro ZIP for your operating system from your aescripts account, or use the Free Trial downloads on this page. Save your work and close your editor, extract the ZIP, then follow the Manual Installation section in the included Shutter Drag Installation Guide.pdf. The guide also covers licensing.

Turn ordinary footage into slow shutter trails and expressive stepped motion. Shape the exposure, find the rhythm, and give every movement a different feeling.

Long exposures let movement gather inside a frame. A slower capture rate gives those frames a deliberate rhythm. Shutter Drag brings both ideas to footage you have already shot.

Neural interpolation estimates motion between source frames, then combines those moments into an exposure. The finished frame holds until the next capture, keeping your clip at its original duration.
