This DCTL uses a unique mathematical approach to introduce color separation to your image around the hue & saturation of your subject. You are able to select a target color, either with sliders or by using a color picker tool, and then control the strength of color separation to introduce around that target color. Additional fine-tuned customization options allow this adjustment to be refined based on luminance, saturation, and more. The result is a quick and elegant way to make your subject and color palette pop – or go in the opposite direction towards a unified, monochromatic look (think Dune or The Matrix).

Can I use this with the free version of DaVinci Resolve?

The free version of DaVinci Resolve enforces a watermark over your footage while using any custom DCTL. For this reason, the Studio version is recommended.
