Click Scan. It reads the open project, not an export, and lists the things that get noticed after delivery: an offline clip still sitting in the timeline, a black gap where a clip slipped, a muted track with audio on it, a one-frame sliver left at a cut, a typo in a lower third. Every finding carries a timestamp. Click it and the playhead goes there.
It is built for editors and motion designers who send work to clients. It is not a cleanup tool and it never edits your project. It answers one question before you export: what is broken?
Click Scan, fix your mistakes.
Premiere Pro scans the active sequence in seconds and lists every problem with a timestamp: offline media, black gaps, muted tracks carrying clips, flash slivers, exposed frames, typos in graphics text. Click a finding and the playhead jumps to it.
Add markers.
One click drops a red marker on every finding, named by the check, so the list lives on the timeline itself.
Remove markers clears only the ones Mistake Detector wrote. Your own markers are never touched.
Turn off what you don’t want.
Every check has a switch. Cutting a silent montage? Turn off the audio checks. Something deliberate keeps coming up? Dismiss it once and it stays out of the list on later scans of that sequence or comp.
