Aescripts Windrops V1.0.0 – Free Download Plugin
A motion based windows-spawning algorithm. Windrops detects motion in your footage and pops up stacked, retro-styled desktop windows over it, each showing a frozen or delayed moment of the clip.
Windrops is an After Effects plugin that generates windows from movement in your footage. Each window captures a frozen frame, creating layered motion trails inspired by retro desktop interfaces and classic Windows error cascades.
Windows appear around moving subjects, with larger focus windows following the main action.

Recreate the classic Windows error cascade. Full-frame windows stack diagonally, building up a trail of frozen frames
Control where the larger windows appear, and keep a face or a specific motion readable at all times while the rest of the frame breaks into windows.
Use Auto to follow the strongest movement in your footage, or switch to Tracked Point and link Focus Point to an After Effects track point. The larger windows follow your tracked subject while smaller windows continue reacting to movement throughout the shot.
