Control colors like never before in After Effects!

Advanced Color Control, as the name suggests, is the advanced type of Color Control. It brings all the different properties of color from the Color Picker dialog to the Effects & Controls panel of After Effects where you can animate or apply expressions to these properties. Not only that, but it also provides different Color Models, Operation Modes, Automation of creation of Controls with much customization and much more!

Color model

Advanced color control offers 3 different color models, allowing you to choose the one that suits your preferences and workflow. These models include:

HSB (Hue Saturation B Correctness)

HSL (hue saturation lightness)

RGB (red, green, blue)

operating mode

Each color model has 2 operating modes that determine how the color model operates. Details of these modes are as follows:

Value controls color:

In this default and most commonly used operating mode, you control color using a slider value. This mode provides an easy way to control and customize colors.

Color control value:

In this mode of operation you can change the color and the corresponding properties of the color will be updated according to the new color. This mode is useful when you aim to extract the value of a specific color selection. By changing the color, you can dynamically retrieve the relevant color properties.
